I have been singing songs in this genre since I first heard vocal jazz when I was 15.
As a vocal jazz major at NYU, I studied the greats-Ella, Sarah, Carmen, Anita and listened to how they
interpreted the Great American Songbook into a free and easy singing vocal jazz style. You may know
these songs from my Jazz For Kids releases, but it all began because of my love for traditional jazz and
this genre.

Special thanks to Fiona Campbell for designing the album cover.
